Your Pet

Meet Your Virtual Companion

Every TamaGROK journey begins with an egg. From that egg hatches a unique creature that will grow, evolve, and live its entire life under the care of our AI agent.

Pet Characteristics

Appearance

Each pet has a distinct pixel art sprite that changes as it grows. Baby pets are small and simple. As they age, they become larger and more detailed. The specific appearance your pet develops depends on how well it was cared for during its life.

Personality

Pets express themselves through animations and reactions. A happy pet bounces and shows hearts. A sad pet droops. An angry pet shows frustration. These visual cues help understand what your pet is feeling.

Gender

Pets can be male or female, which may affect certain interactions and relationships later in life.

Name

Each pet has a name that identifies it throughout its life.

What Your Pet Needs

Your pet has six fundamental needs that must be satisfied:

Need
What It Means

Hunger

How full your pet's stomach is. Empty stomach means danger.

Sleep

Energy level. Tired pets need rest.

Fun

Happiness and entertainment. Bored pets become sad.

Health

Physical wellbeing. Sick pets need medicine.

Hygiene

Cleanliness. Dirty pets feel uncomfortable.

Bladder

Need for the bathroom. Full bladder causes accidents.

All these needs decrease over time naturally. The AI agent monitors them constantly and takes action to keep them at healthy levels.

Pet Behavior

Normal State

When all needs are satisfied, your pet wanders around its home, occasionally stopping to rest or look around. This is the happy, healthy default state.

Sleeping

When tired, pets sleep. During sleep, they recover energy but other needs continue to decline. The AI knows not to disturb a sleeping pet unless there's an emergency.

Misbehaving

Sometimes pets act out, especially if discipline is low. When misbehaving, pets need to be scolded to correct their behavior before other actions can be taken.

Using the Bathroom

Pets need to use the bathroom regularly. If they can't make it in time, accidents happen and the room needs cleaning.

Pet Growth

Your pet doesn't stay the same forever. Over time, it grows through different life stages:

  1. Egg - The beginning, lasting about 30 seconds

  2. Baby - Tiny and fragile, needing special care

  3. Child - Gaining independence and abilities

  4. Teen - Almost grown, with more options

  5. Adult - Fully mature with all abilities

  6. Elder - The final stage of life

Each transition is called an evolution, and the quality of that evolution depends on how well the pet was cared for.

What Makes Each Pet Unique

While all pets have the same basic needs and behaviors, the combination of:

  • Evolution path (based on care quality)

  • Skills developed (through school)

  • Relationships formed (friends and family)

  • Experiences lived (activities and events)

Makes every pet's journey one of a kind.
